Hidden nursery rhyme? 'L'Enfant Sauvage' by Gordon Crosse

I've become unable to stop listening to Psappha Ensemble performing Gordon Crosse's L'Enfant Sauvage, and have slowly become aware of occasional hints, in the clarinet, of 'Oranges and Lemons' which surface throughout the work. I haven't seen a score, and am intrigued; is it just me, or does anyone else hear this too ?

The clarinet represent the 'Wild Boy' (the piece is a re-working of a previous ballet-score, distilled into a chamber work) and it's possible that this is a thematic representation of the boy's wilful youthfulness. Have a listen and decide for yourself; whether this is so or not, it's a fascinating work.
